Ameh was born and raised in Ajegunle in Lagos State, a region of Nigeria that is primarily inhabited by Yoruba-speaking Nigerians, despite being a native of Idoma in Benue State. In Lagos State, Ameh completed her primary and secondary schooling, but she eventually dropped out at 14, the same age she gave birth to her daughter.

She attended Army Children’s School 4 in Ajegunle, Lagos, during her primary school years. She made three secondary school transfers. Initially, she attended the Idoma Community Secondary School in Otobi, Benue State, and then transferred to the Wesley High School in Otukpo, likewise in the same state. At Adeolu Secondary School in Ajegunle, Lagos, Ada finally finished her secondary education.
When Ada Ameh became pregnant at age 14 and her mother passed away simultaneously, her secondary schooling was postponed. She left secondary school and was driven from her house but was eventually called back. She turned to prostitution to care for her child, an unnamed military member fathered.

Ada Ameh Death
Ada Ameh passed away on July 17, 2022. According to reports, she died after displaying depressive symptoms and struggling with her health. Depression worsened after the deaths of her sister in March 2022 and her only child on October 20, 2020. Ada had lost six of her siblings before she lost her one and only child, Aladi.
